As a director Hal Ashby told that he didn't think to make cinemaverite with story at all, it's just Stones live documentary in '81. Shooted at an open air venue, Sun Devil Stadium and an indoor venue, Brendon Byrne Arena.

The latest technology of the time was used on sound, since it's the documentary film of concerts. Mixing done by Bob Clearmountain who still works on editing Stones songs now.

Title SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL
Release Date October 1994
Cat Number 3878110023

French director Jean-Luc Godard created this video and its original title was "One Plus One." In Japan its DVD is also sold. This film synchronized the process of making "Sympathy For The Devil" at Olympic Studios in London and the life-styles of youths calling out "Blues People" by LeRoi Jones outside the studio.

It became the last recording for Brian Jones, but unfortunately he seemed not to do recording at all and just to be at studio.

Title 25X5
Release Date August 2000
Cat Number SNY49027

This video is the corpus of 25th anniversary of their career, I should say. The video goes talking about comings and goings then with the images of the time by the members of Stones and surroundings.

The following songs are featured on this video, but all songs are used in fragments just for the scene of interviews, not for listening to the music. It features some unreleased images and some talks first spoken, so it's popular for many Stones fans. Unfortunately its DVD isn't sold.
