Stones' commemorable US debut album. The cover photo is by Nicholas Wright. The differences from UK album released about one month before this album, are eliminating "Mona" and putting "Not Fade Away" as the first song of this album. "Not Fade Away" is the US first single in effect (the third single in UK).

Because of a debut album, many cover songs are featured and most of these songs were performed at concerts in '60s. In '90s passing ''70s and '80s, songs from this album were performed on a stage again and incleased times to listen this album. "I Just Want To Make Love To You" on '90 Urban Jungle Tour, "Not Fade Away" on '94 Voodoo Lounge Tour, "Route 66" on '99 Bridges To Babylon Tour. "Shame Shame Shame" which is the original song of "Little By Little" was performed at the club gig in Chicago in '97. Will the only song "Tell Me" which cowritten by Jagger/Richards revive in 21st Century? ("Route 66" was performed once at a benefit concert just before ''73 Winter Tour)
