The first album from a self label "Rolling Stones Records". Its cover is by Andy Warhol and a real zipper is on the cover. 6 songs were recorded at a mobile unit called Mighty Stones Mobile, which was used for recording of 4 more albums. Spanish vinyl was released in '68. Because Spanish Atlantic Records refused an outtake "Sister Morphine" of "Let It Bleed", it was replaced to "Let It Rock" and its cover was changed too. It came up in conversation, since "Let It Rock" was only real stereo recording not as monaural recording on UK single. |
