In Jul. 11, '89, at the Grand Central Station in Manhattan, a release of a new album "Steel Wheels" and American Tour were announced. Mick put the box close to a microphone to make the people being able to hear "Mixed Emotions". Keith agrin responded to Mick's act. This album was created by Stones returning from individuals.

Mick and Keith discussed satisfactorily in Barbados of West Indies in Jan. '89. And then this album was made at a studio in Montserrat and Olympic Studios in London. In Jun. Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Matt Clifford who was introduced to Stones by Chris Kimsey, the producer of this album, visited Morocco where is classic ground for "Continental Drift".
