ストーンズにとって通算5枚目のライヴ・アルバム。暫くツアーから遠ざかっていたストーンズが89年から90年にかけて、北米、日本、欧州でおこなったSteel Wheels / Urban Jungle Tourの模様を収録。

あえて特定の国でのライヴ・アルバムではないことを示すかのように、ミックが英語以外の言葉で話している部分も積極的に収録している。東京ドームでこのアルバムに収録されたのは"Ruby Tuesday"、"Sympathy For The Devil"、"Jumpin' Jack Flash"の3曲。

"Highwire"と"Sex Drive"はロンドンのヒット・ファクトリーでのスタジオ録音。
